Anyways.
I'm updating y'all on everything new that's happened this month--some things you probably didn't need to know, but are going to be told nonetheless!
On Wednesday, February 9th, Owen rolled over ON PURPOSE for the first time! It was from his tummy to his back (the easier of the the two), and it was totally intentional. I was sick and giving him tummy time. I saw him struggling and struggling, then he did it! And landed a little hard on his head. He was almost ready to cry, but I was so excited I distracted him enough, I guess. I clapped and screamed (which is not good when you're sick; it totally drained all of my energy) and freaked out Colleen, who was coming up the driveway.
Since then he tries to roll over every time he's on his tummy. He does it about 78% of the time. He's so proud each time he does it~its the sweetest thing I've ever seen.
The very next day, Thursday 10th, Owen cut his first tooth! We went to Radiance's staff meeting (Colleen was gone, so I had no one to watch Owen), which he was EXCEPTIONALLY good at by the way, and Kristy asked if a tooth had popped through yet. I said not yet, but soon...and when we got home, I noticed it! I squealed & called Brant at work. It was great. I can't really get a picture of it though, sorry. He just wants to suck on my finger when I try to pull his lip down.
Since then he's cut one more, so now he has two bottom teeth. The second one (on your right when you're looking at him) is shorter than the first one, as they're still moving up. But they're so white! It's crazy! No nursing bites yet, which I'm thankful for, though his teething pain has heightened tenfold. I highly recommend Humphrey's Teething tablets for this.
And finally, Owen has discovered his penis. Starting yesterday, every single time I change his diaper, his hand goes down and tugs and pulls. You know, I thought I'd be embarrassed or not know how to react, but it's not like that at all. It's just a new discovery for him. So I'm like, 'yes babe, that's your penis. I need to put your diaper on now,' and that's it. It's almost cute, if I can describe it that way.
Anyway...that's about it! Except for how cute he is!
