I'm starting to stretch a little. I've got 2 little burst-capillaries on the left side of my abdomen. I am using Weleda's pomegranate body oil like crazy to avoid more stretch marks.
My perpetual nausea is over, although I'm still sick of most foods and eating is probably the foremost challenge so far.
I'm lucky that I'm getting the majority of my nutrients, save a few that I need to supplement further than pre-natals. I'm having the protein challenge though. And it's a challenge to get in enough calories. But Brant bought me some whey protein powder, which is working miracles.
Lastly, my WomanCare appointment was moved to the eleventh of this month. We'll definitely post details after our appointment.
I can't remember if there was a reason you didn't want to go to Around the Circle. But I just read online that they are opening up a Birthing Center and I am SOO excited!!! I wouldn't want to have a home-birth but I really wanted to have my next child in a birthing center (my sis had three kids in one and they are a comfortable, calm, environment). I no longer feel like I can't have any more children in Olympia.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's opening! Our main reason is that I couldn't do a home birth (it just doesn't feel right to me) and the birthing center isn't/wasn't open yet. I also have to check and see what insurance covers, and whether or not the birthing center has pain medication as an option, if after the next few months I decide to use that. I don't foresee it, but I can't rule it out now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the notice!
